Just call me Josh
I’m based in the Dallas, Acworth, and Kennesaw area, and I’ve been behind the camera since 2010. My photography journey started in an unexpected way, I broke my leg racing motocross and wanted to stay connected to the world I loved.
Over the years, I’ve photographed everything from weddings to magazine features, working alongside mentors and learning through every shoot. Through it all, I’ve developed a style that feels natural, earthy, and timeless. My goal is for you to look back at your photos years from now and feel just as connected to those moments as the day they happened.
Outside of photography, I love spending time with my family, Lauren, Greta, and Greer. Music is a big part of our lives (we actually met at a local show) and we still enjoy catching shows whenever we can. That same love for connection and real experiences inspires my work behind the lens.
Whether it’s a wedding, a family session, or exploring a new location together, I’m always excited for the opportunity to create images that are genuine, personal, and lasting. If my work speaks to you, I’d love to hear your story and capture the moments that matter most to you.

My Style

Natural
There’s something timeless about natural light and real moments. I love when the sun hits just right or when a laugh happens unplanned. To me, “natural” means photographs that don’t feel staged, but instead reflect the genuine beauty of life as it is.

Earthy
Earth tones, and outdoor settings inspire me. Whether it’s golden fields, a wooded trail, or cozy textures at home, “earthy” feels calm and authentic. It’s about creating images that feel connected to the world around us (warm, rooted, and real.)

Candid
The best moments aren’t posed. They’re the in-betweens: the hand squeeze, the messy hair, the kids giggling mid-spin. “Candid” is where the soul of photography lives for me, it’s those fleeting seconds that make photos feel alive every time you look back.
